Any opinions pro/con on the new WinMo phone AT&T Fuze / HTC Touch Pro?

I personally HATE the HTC Touch Pro... I upgraded from two HTC Touch phones to an LG Lotus and a HTC Touch Pro... The phone is plagued with the same problems that the Touch was... Fragile USB port, dark permanent smudges on the screen after a sort time, and that whole red flashing light w/ locked up phone when the phone dies sometimes... I almost upgraded again to the Diamond, until I noticed that they all use the same capacitive touch screen component.

The Iphone for ATT, the new Blackberry on Verizon, and the Instinct for Sprint are the only phones on those networks that actually have good touch screens.

The iPhone really isn't an option for me as I have acrylic nails (having already tried it).

Don't want to go with a Blackberry; I have too much WinMo programs invested.

I'm not too worried about the front panel since I'll likely have some kind of protective cover (I have a small chip in my 700w and have used protective covers ever since).

I'll definitely try out the touch screen before making a final decision.

I do appreciate your input!

We have several at work. Very much a Diamond with the keyboard, although I don't know that means the same battery limitations. The keyboard does add significantly to the bulk.

I'm upgrading from a Palm 700w.

I never used the Diamond, so I don't have too much comparison.

I can see your point about it being bulky, but so's my 700w :)

it's got a very nice screen, the keyboard is great, but as others have said it really adds to the bulk. one thing i find hard to navigate with is their scroll wheel type thing they have on it. it's way too easy to hit the call button instead of the directional button that you are trying to get.

I'll specifically look at the scroll wheel and make sure I can deal with it being where it is in relation to the call button.

I will prefer HTC Touch Pro. htc mobile gained popularity for their amazing form and functionality.
